Broadcaster of the Year: This award is presented to an individual or group of individuals who have demonstrated an outstanding and exceptional contribution to the broadcast industry in New Mexico within the past calendar year. Through their work, this individual or group of individuals have demonstrated a deep commitment to the continued success of their station. In addition, this contribution or achievement should exhibit relevance to broadcasting as a continually evolving medium. Candidates must have been a broadcaster within the New Mexico market for at least 6 months of the past calendar year; and must be an NMBA member. Submission entries should include a 500-word or less description of the candidate and the reasons for the nominations, as well as a letter of recommendation from a source other than the nominating source.
