The event is part of the 2017 Radio Show, held September 5-8 at the JW Marriott Austin and produced by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) and Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB).

Over 200 House Members Now Cosponsor Local Radio Freedom Act

WASHINGTON, DC -- A bipartisan coalition of seven Members of the House of Representatives have joined as cosponsors of a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The Local Radio Freedom Act (LRFA) now has 206 cosponsors in the House and 23 in the Senate.
