- ABIP At the top of the list of benefits is the discounted Alternate Broadcast Inspection program (ABIP) that provides you with a three year guarantee that the FCC won’t inspect your station (unless someone files a complaint against you!). You must maintain your NMBA membership for the three years the ABIP certificate is in effect.
- Career Center
The NMBA offers its members the ability to post their job listings on the NMBA Website. Postings are emailed to job placement sources throughout the region. A record of each posting is kept in member stations' online EEO file. Posting are listed for one month or until a designated close date, and are linked to the Broadcasters Executive Directors’ Association national website.
E-Newsletter - The MikeSide
NMBA keeps you up-to-date on statewide broadcasting activities including broadcasters in the news, state and national legislation, business trends, insurance and tax news, legal issues and activities. It is sent weekly via e-mail to all members.

Convention and Broadcast Awards
The Golden Mike Awards are only open to NMBA members and are held each year in conjunction with our annual convention in June. Entries are always due in April. Your dues must be paid in order to enter. Check our calendar for specific dates.
Along with the Golden Mike Awards, the annual convention offers members valuable working sessions on sports reporting, sales, programming and more at a GREATLY reduced rate that includes seminar registration and all meals!
New Mexico News Network
The NMBA's News Network has become a reliable source of news releases from agencies and organizations across the state. As a member, your news director or station manage will receive these notifications via email as well as news stories from our media partners - including KOAT, KOB and KRQE television stations in Albuquerque.

Emergency Alert System
The NMBA helps maintains the state’s EAS which, in turn, insures your station(s) remain an integral part of emergency response in your community.
