What We Need:

The Senior Vice President of Sales for Albuquerque is a high impact executive responsible for driving revenue strategy, enforcing team accountability, and strengthening iHeartMedia’s competitive position across broadcast, digital, podcasting, and live event platforms. This leader sets the vision for a disciplined, high-performing sales organization; develops and coaches experienced account executives; and drives a strong new business mindset across the team. The ideal candidate is a strategic operator and people-first leader with a proven ability to recruit top talent, elevate performance, and deliver exceptional client outcomes in a fast paced and data driven environment.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the overall sales strategy and revenue performance for the Albuquerque market, ensuring consistent growth across all iHeartMedia platforms.
  • Build, coach, and hold accountable a team of experienced, high performing account executives, fostering a culture of discipline, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive a strong new business development engine by coaching AEs on prospecting, pipeline creation, and closing strategies.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent to strengthen the team’s bench and elevate performance.
  • Develop and execute integrated sales plans that align with corporate priorities and leverage iHeart’s full suite of audio, digital, data, and experiential capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Programming, Marketing, and Digital leadership to strengthen brand positioning, audience engagement, and client value.
  • Cultivate senior level relationships with key advertisers, agencies, and strategic partners to expand market share and unlock new revenue opportunities.
  • Use audience insights, category trends, attribution tools, and competitive analysis to guide strategy and improve performance.
  • Oversee forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategy, and expense management to ensure financial discipline and operational excellence.
  • Champion adoption of new products, platforms, and data driven solutions to advance iHeart’s leadership in the audio and digital marketplace.
  • Represent iHeartMedia at industry events, community initiatives, and high visibility client engagements.

Requirements

What You’ll Need:

  • Extensive senior leadership experience in media, advertising, or a related revenue driven industry.
  • Proven success leading and developing experienced, high performing sales teams with measurable impact on revenue growth and market performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive team accountability, set clear expectations, and elevate performance.
  • Strong track record of new business development, including coaching teams to prospect, pitch, and close effectively.
  • Experience recruiting, hiring, and retaining top sales talent.
  • Deep understanding of audio, digital, programmatic, and integrated marketing solutions.
  • Strong strategic planning, financial management, and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across a matrixed organization.
  • Skilled at leading through change and fostering a high performance, growth-oriented culture.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive level presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment while maintaining focus on long-term strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
