The KRQE Media Group proudly serves the public with KRQECares events throughout the year. From putting shoes on kids, to hosting food drives for kids to hosting Story Time in the Park – benefitting the APS Title 1 program. In addition, during Nexstar Corporate Founders Day, station employees worked at Roadrunner
Food Bank. The KRQE Media group partners as the media sponsor with many charity organizations throughout the year, including the American Heart Red Dress Luncheon, Run for the Zoo, Boo at the Zoo, Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation “Not-So-Muddy-Volleyball-Tournament”, Animal Humane’s Doggie Dash and Dawdle and more.
