Once again, basketball venues include Bernalillo High School, Rio Rancho Events Center and the UNM Pit. Media passes are required at all venues.
The Pit: There will be landlines and data ports available at the media table on a first-come, first-served basis, for registered participants. While we do not anticipate any problems providing lines to all stations, please remember that there is usually only room for 2 broadcasters per station per game. During “tight” games, that rule will be strictly enforced. Media passes are required.
Rio Rancho Events Center: The RREC will host play on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Just like at the Pit, phone and data lines are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. There will be media availability on the floor as well as in the press box above the court. Allotted space is large enough to accommodate other broadcasters who prefer to use their cell phones.
Bernalillo High School: BHS will only host games on Wednesday.
Stations covering the games using NMBA phone and data lines will be required to air liners for NMDOT. Instructions and copy will be provided to stations after registration.
Only NMBA members who register their stations will have access to the NMBA phone and data lines.
